Southern New Hampshire University is currently seeking a Web Developer. This is your chance to showcase your talent, make impactful decisions, and use your skills to help build a user-centric modern web presence for SNHU.

You will join a group of talented developers on Web Services team, part of Millyard Creative, SNHU’s fast-paced internal marketing agency. In this position you will also support the g team as you architect, develop, and enhance functionality for our various public facing websites and internal processes.

Essential duties and responsibilities of this position include:

  • Design and develop application solutions, enhancements, and database integrations for Sitecore, WordPress, and legacy systems
  • Build web pages and site templates
  • Implement User interfaces, SEO, accessibility, usability, and performance with equal importance
  • Triage and resolve server and performance issues
  • Solve system challenges through analysis of data and knowledge of database systems, programming languages, network software, hardware, protocols, and policies at SNHU
  • Maintain and apply patches to our applications and servers
  • Support functionality and monitor the collection of lead data and processing
  • Communicate effectively with team leads and account managers to facilitate on-time deliverables
  • Accurately scope and estimate deliverables
  • Contribute, develop, and follow detailed technical specifications
  • Relentlessly aspire to improve and have a positive, can-do attitude

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Please include a portfolio with an example(s) of code that you have written that you feel demonstrates the value that you would bring to the team
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a technical area, or the equivalent in education and experience

2+ years of .NET development
Strong development skills in: C#, XHTML, HTML 5, SQL, JavaScript/jQuery, and CSS/SASS
Working knowledge of Web browsers (Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, Safari, etc.), Windows, Macintosh, and Linux utilities
Experience in writing dynamic web interfaces and integrating with databases
Experience writing SQL server queries and stored procedures
Experience with Tracking campaign activity
Proofing and cross-browser debugging skills
Experience with: any enterprise level CMS, SharePoint, Microsoft Dynamics, Google Search Console (formerly Google Webmaster Tools), Google Analytics
Preferred Qualifications:
Sitecore certified highly preferred
Experience with PHP development
Proficiency with WordPress and Google Tag Manager
Experience implementing A/B and multivariate tests on landing pages
