Jr. Full Stack Developer

Company Description: Awato is a software startup based in Manchester, NH. We build an online platform that help people identify and pursue careers they’d love.

As a Jr. Full Stack Web Developer you will work with our product team to develop customer-centric products from idea to production.This is a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment that values speed and quality, with a strong desire to drive change by adhering to an agile methodology. You will work predominately with Angularjs and Ruby.

Responsibilities:

• Attend Sprint meetings with your team
• Develop and deploy code to production site
• Test and document code
• Troubleshoot problems
• Work collaboratively with the team to overcome technical issues

Qualifications:

• Professional, ambitious, determined, persistent and results oriented mind-set.
• 0 – 2 years of experience with Javascript, Ruby, Angularjs, HTML, CSS
• Some experience working with Agile methodologies (Scrum)
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science
• Able to test, document and debug code
• Fast learner
• Strong written and verbal communications skills.
• Positive attitude, team oriented, self-starter who can work independently as well as in a collaborative manner to achieve team goal
