Treasury Analyst **NEEDED ASAP!

General Description :

This degreed position is responsible for the day to day activities of the Treasury department. This position sets the daily cash position, manages the bank book, books banking transactions, processes wires, etc. while being introduced to more complex Treasury activities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Assists in daily management of banking activities, which include the following: access bank accounts daily, researches and reconciles bank activity to general ledger, process wire transfer payments
• Work with Banks on any web portal issues that arise
• Sets daily cash positioning and optimizing cash balances across all legal entities
• Work with Treasury management team to optimize bank accounts structure to effectively meet the needs of the business
• Processes weekly AP run
• Daily reporting of cash activity
• Performs monthly analysis of banking fees
• Assists with cash forecasting
• Records intercompany cash activity
• Special projects as assigned

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Software: Great Plains, SAP, Excel, Word
• Strong communication skills
• Strong problem solving, analytical and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently.
• Good research skills
• Working knowledge of domestic & foreign banking, funds transfer, and lockboxes preferred

Minimum Required Education, Credentials, Licenses and Experience:

• Undergraduate degree required; Business related degree preferred
• 2+ years’ experience in a general ledger accounting or treasury role required
