Sr. Front End Developer

We are seeking an extraordinarily talented senior front developer to join us at the fastest growing tech company in the State of Oregon. As a member of the Provata team, you’ll work side by side with the design and developer teams creating beautiful web and mobile-based applications.. We are looking for someone with impressive front end experience who can easily pick up the technologies we’re working with now and will be working with in the future. This is an in-house position; no remote candidates.

Our state of the art platform unites gorgeous design with groundbreaking innovative features such as digital health games, advanced activity tracking, and integrations with major wearables and fitness apps. We expanded our product line with our cutting edge virtual reality guided meditation app, Provata VR, with patent-pending meditation biofeedback. Our applications are provided to hundreds of thousands of individuals across over 1,000 worksites.

A feature-rich, interactive web application using:

React,js, and JavaScript architecture, (Webpack, Compass, and Bootstrap)
NodeJS server that supplies HTML/CSS/JS
Java dropwizard REST backend using a MySQL database
AWS infrastructure (Docker with ECS)

We use React Native to build our awesome native ios and Android apps.

What you need for this role:

4+ years of front end experience building consumer web applications
Strong technical responsibility over the products you work on and the codebases you maintain
Stellar Javascript skills, professional experience with React.js and experience with other web frameworks
Exceptional analytical, debugging/troubleshooting, coding, and communication skills
