What you’ll do as a Java Developer at Finity:

• Employ cutting edge technologies for our healthcare customers that unify the way we deliver, while providing the ability to quickly spin up new customers
• Build and design systems that process data from diverse sources and deliver data visualization and shopping experience to our customers
• Develop a complete shopping cart experience and associated shipping integration components

You will be responsible for:

• Analyzing & developing Java-based web & mobile applications
• Integrating solutions with third-party data-feeds & software
• Software development projects from requirements development through testing and into release
• Ensuring that development projects meet security, uptime, & stability requirements
• Contributing to development of technical documentation & user manuals
• Integrating with a team of developers
• Keeping current on technology trends and advancements within your area of specialization, and working to incorporate these improvements as applicable

The qualified Java Developer for Finity will have at least 3 years of relevant work experience, including:

• Java application development
• Developing and maintaining RESTful web services
• Developing using modern Java frameworks and related technologies such as Microservices, SPA, Spring projects, Servlet API, JMS, oAuth 2.0
• Programming languages — Java, JavaScript (Python, PHP, R, or bash scripting is a plus)
• Open source database solutions
• Configuration, build, and deployment management using tools such as Bitbucket, Jenkins, Maven, Artifactory
• Agile SCRUM development with JIRA and Crucible
• Working with CI build servers such as Jenkins, Bamboo or TeamCity
• Working with Git version control system
• Code review tools
• Deploying applications in AWS
• Automated testing including Junit
• Expertise with all things Linux, particularly RedHat 7+
• BS degree in computer science, math, or related field is preferred

Bonus experience with any of the following:

• Experience in the healthcare industry
• Knowledge of HIPAA &/or NIST security standards
