Who we’re looking for:

Toyota’s Production Engineering Stamping Equipment department is looking for a passionate and highly-motivated Stamping Engineer.

The primary responsibility of this role is to lead refurbishment, safety upgrade, and new installation Stamping Equipment projects.

Reporting to the Project Manager, the person in this role will support the Stamping Equipment department’s objective to install, start-up, troubleshoot, modify and assist the production plants with press equipment refurbishments, safety upgrades and new equipment installations.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead project teams consisting of controls engineers and technicians to implement equipment projects from Ringi development through production handover to meet the project KPI targets for safety, quality, productivity and cost
  • Lead and motivate other engineers in daily floor management and TBP thinking
  • Work with and lead our customers, acting as TMNA’s representative on equipment projects
  • Mentor other Stamping Project Engineers

Qualifications

What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher or equivalent industry related work experience
  • Stamping or Plastics experience
  • Project management experience
  • Project leadership experience

Added bonus if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • Completion of TBP Panel
