Project Engineer III

Valvoline is seeking a Project Engineer III to join our team.

Manage/administer CADD operations and Corporate Engineering Data (Digital & Archive)

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain e-file naming conventions for all Engineering documents & information.
• Develop clear, complete & accurate working plans and detail drawings for all disciplines of engineering utilizing 2D and/or 3D CADD & Cape software.
• Administer CADD network system and provide Project and Packaging engineers with technical support and training.
• Evaluate and make recommendations for CADD software that improves efficiency and effectiveness of the system.
• Act as document coordinator/administrator for all Engineering master documents on the Engineering Share Point site.
• Develop site content to facilitate user friendly access to all relevant Engineering content including; Corporate Engineering specifications, procedures, standards, etc.
• Maintain master documents in searchable archive.
• Ensure all relevant documents are formatted and in accordance with ISO standards.
• Assist Package Engineers in development, coordination and communication of packaging related data used throughout Valvoline Global Supply Chain.
• Solicit, compile and forecast capital budget requests.
• Initiate Capital Budget process annually by sending notice to all stakeholders. Consolidate all budget requests into corporate format for management review. Develop Excel based spreadsheet for budget tracking and forecasting.
• Assist in the creation of capital expenditure authorization documents.
• Audit and reconcile capital expenditures with SAP. Coordinate reconciliation adjustments with project engineers and Property Accounting.
• Provide mechanical, civil, structural, process or electrical design for projects at all Valvoline facilities both domestic & international. Ensure that all design work performed complies with all industry design standards, regulations, and codes.
• Execute capital budget projects for Valvoline including facility construction/re-development, process improvement, packaging line installations, equipment procurement, etc. Responsibilities include estimating, project management and administration, financial tracking , & working with the contractor(s) and plant personnel to insure timely completion and successful implementation of the project.
• Provide technical assistance to the manufacturing plants in developing solutions to production related issues. This requires a thorough understanding of the manufacturing processes involved and experience with the equipment and procedures that are currently in place.

Qualifications:

Required:

• BS Engineering with 5-10 years work experience.
• 2D and/or 3D CADD (AutoCAD, Solidworks, etc) experience required.
• Demonstrated organization and analytic abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to work well with others across organization (both internally and externally) in order to achieve goals.
• SAP experience.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States .
