Job Summary:

Ingersoll Rand’s internships provide college students with challenging assignments, leadership training and valuable exposure to our company’s senior leaders. Through meaningful work projects, our interns are enabled to build diverse skill sets and a strong foundation for a successful and fulfilling career with Ingersoll Rand.

We’re looking for performance-driven, innovative leaders who understand the importance of collaboration and customer focus. Our intern program offers candidates working toward their Bachelor’s in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering exposure to a variety of assignments which could include: New Product Engineering, New Product Testing, Parts rationalization engineering studies.

Positions are available at many of our facilities including: Lexington, Kentucky and Macon, Georgia

Qualifications:

  • BS/BA in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or similar Engineering Field
  • Overall 3.0 GPA or above
  • Demonstrated leadership skills (minimum of one example in the last four years such as: school club officer, sports team captain, resident advisor, etc. or exceptional leadership of work projects)
  • Work experiences (minimum of two functionally related internships or six months of experience, ie Co-op or work exp by graduation)
  • Resiliency and ability to adapt quickly
