Environmental Field Project Manager

The Opportunity

The Environmental Field Project Manager is responsible for overseeing landfill, soil remediation and construction projects. This position will follow project construction plans while working with our field personnel to ensure Health and Safety requirements are adhered to and that the work is performed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times;

Manages and oversees small to midsize, technically complex projects involving waste site cleanup and construction, building and equipment decontamination and demolition;

Prepares proposals, including cost estimates, work scopes and schedules;

Acts as an agent of business and is involved with developing relationships with customers and understanding their needs;

Provides technical support for proposal preparation, project cost estimates and subcontractor selection and procurement;

Supports the financial health of the project by ensuring proper invoicing and project costing;

Enforces Health & Safety policies and procedures;

Documents and compiles site data required to characterize the nature and extent of the contamination, the hydrology and geological stratigraphy of the disposal site, and the environmental receptors that may be affected.

Qualifications:
Bachelors’ degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Geology or related discipline;

Minimum of 7-years environmental field, landfill construction, remediation or site construction experience;

Surveying experience preferred with the ability to review and understand technical drawings and engineering plans;

Strong proficiency in Windows based applications.

Ability and willingness to travel for extended periods of time.
