Essential Functions:
Responsible for independently maintaining electronic data exchange between XPO supply chain partners and internal operational systems

Prioritize and schedule delivery of b2b solutions that optimize their respective business functions

Create test plans

Review test plans of less experienced developers

Communicate with external b2b vendors and collaborate with internal IT and operating system team members to ensure b2b solutions are developed on time and to required specifications

Work directly with the XPO EDI Support Team to verify procedures ensure b2b support issues are resolved in a timely and professional manner, and that issues are properly recorded back to our project and issues tracking systems

Be a technical resource for existing enhancement requests providing time and effort estimates, and jointly work with EDI Business Analyst – Coordinator to issue project management updates and provide implementation ownership

Lead our software development team and external vendors as needed to conduct impact analysis and version release support to ensure b2b data integrity pre and post release.

Assist in the support the day to day operations of our b2b integration points.

Work with EDI Business Analyst – Coordinator team members to implement b2b solutions.

Responsible for the service experience for our end users and ensure their requirements are communicated

Support the data and reporting needs of our business owners to enable them to maximize business unit efficiencies

Mentor and assist in the development of less experienced developers

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

(Non-negotiable) The candidate MUST have experience working for a fast paced growing company and MUST have internal and external customer-facing development experience

Minimum of 2 years exposure to Sterling integrator Release 5.x, or greater

Must have 4 years EDI mapping experience.

Minimum 1 years exposure to Relational Data Bases and TSQL query and data manipulation skills

Excellent customer service, communication and problem solving skills

Strong time management skills

Minimum of 4 years’ work experience

Desirable Qualifications

Logistics business exposure

Excellent project management skills

Exposure to the LightWell framework (DMI) tool
