Job Summary:
This position will be responsible for identification, selection and development of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) tools to improve the overall automated processing of enrollment, claims, and other file processing application needs. The position works closely with the internal and external clients to establish and execute system job processes that meet our customer and regulatory requirements, which includes responding to customer calls and managing resolutions related to these processes. This position works with internal and external customers to define EDI job operations needs and the most effective sequence of required processes. This position also coordinates the proper assignment of related helpdesk tickets and monitors the timeliness of responses. This position is also responsible for front-end trouble-shooting of related helpdesk tickets to expedite proper assignment and resolution of the tickets.

Essential Functions:
Prepare and execute daily/weekly/monthly IT job processes that include, but are not limited to, claims adjudication runs, billing runs, reports runs, print jobs, SQL jobs and EDI load procedures.

Performs frequent complex SQL scripting that demonstrates expertise with relational tables using joins, unions and groupings.

Coordinate schedules of operational jobs among all clients.

Support EDI/ETL testing with internal and external stakeholders.

Monitor the success and effectiveness of the job processes to ensure that they meet our customers’ expectations—including establishing metrics to measure such job processes.

When job process issues arise, position is responsible for front-end resolution (or elevating complex issues for resolution) and is also responsible for related client contact on such matters.

With input from management, train and lead personnel on required job processes.

Lead in the coordination and assignment of related helpdesk tickets as well as tracking the response/resolution of reported and assigned issues.

Works with outside customers to define EDI/ETL job operations needs and collaborate to evaluate the most effective sequence of required processes.

Ensures processes are run and performed in an effective and timely manner – working with the customers on any related matters.

Development of EDI/ETL scripts associated with the workload necessary to support day-to-day operations.

Effectively communicate change requests to various technical resources and monitor their progress.

Provide technical troubleshooting as needed to assist clients, staff and vendors to resolve EDI/ETL processing challenges.

Identifies and implements industry leading EDI/ETL tools to streamline business processes.

Development of documented procedures associated with scheduled EDI/ETL events.

Education, Experience and Skills Required:
Candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in a computer related technical field.

Candidate must possess a minimum of five years of EDI/ETL operations, development and knowledge of X12 HIPAA transactions code sets, with at least two years of the EDI/ETL duties.

Proficiency in the following technologies is mandatory: Microsoft Word, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook, MS-TSQL, SSRS, Visio (or equivalent design tools) and EDI NotePad (or equivalent EDI analysis tools).

A strong background in script development of industry standard relational databases such as Microsoft SQL, Oracle or Sybase along with networking knowledge is required.

Must have exposure to a ticketing tool management or help desk function.

Experience in coordinating resources or customer service issues with external parties in an IT production environment is preferred.

Candidate must have strong analytical skills with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.

Be able to work effectively with customers, co-workers and management.

Must be able to handle multiple projects in a timely manner.

Should possess excellent verbal and written communications, presentation and effective listening skills.
