Customer Service Representative-Netsuite or ERP Experience Required

Household Essentials, LLC. is one of the leading suppliers of non-electric laundry, storage/organization, and home decoration products to the retail industry. Household Essentials produces products that sell under its own brand label and also supplies products that are sold under numerous private label brands. Products are produced from various countries and are distributed from its St. Louis distribution center and corporate office located in Hazelwood, MO.

TITLE: CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

Prior NetSuite or equivalent ERP, EDI, Microsoft Office, and Internet experience is required. Previous experience with business to business and/or direct-to-consumer contact a plus! Candidate must have strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to work in multiple programs and screens at once. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision with strong attention to detail and excellent follow-up skills required.

This is a fast paced environment with a high quantity of transactions. Experience with Retailers and E-commerce is a definite plus! Candidate must have the ability to answer general and technical product questions for end-user based on assembly instruction sheets. Previous experience with inventory, freight, returns and retailers preferred.

• Take consumer phone calls and e-mails for product information, assembly assistance, warranty and parts assistance, and return information.
• Main point-of-contact for a specific set of retail accounts.
• Process retail orders that are transmitted via EDI, e-mail or fax in an accurate and timely manner.
• Initiate small package claims when appropriate.
• Process customer returns as per customer requirements.
• Act as department back-up when other employees are sick or on vacation.

REQUIRED EDUCATION/SKILLS /EXPERIENCE:

• Must have at least 3 years customer service experience.
• Associates degree or equivalent experience required. Additional education and/or experience dealing direct with consumers a plus.
• Must be highly organized and both detail and deadline oriented.
• This position works with a variety of departments and requires a strong sense of teamwork and cooperation with peers.
