U.S. Bank is seeking a motivated Database Developer to contribute toward the success of our technology initiatives. Fully participates in development, testing, implementation, and support of data management, reporting, and application systems. Participates in definition of project tasks. Performs change impact analysis tasks. Assists in the creation of comprehensive unit test plans and creates and executes test cases in line with test plans. Participates in design, coding, testing, implementation, and documentation of solutions. Participates in design, coding, testing, debugging, documentation, maintenance, and modification to computer programs of moderate complexity, significance, and risk. Participates in investigation, analysis, and resolution of technical problems related to system functions, programming, and procedures. Assists with post-implementation reviews. Assists in monitoring operating efficiency of existing systems. Writes documentation that describes installation and operating procedures.

Duties & Responsibilities

Analysis and Design

· Participate in requirements gathering for proposed projects

· Present technical ideas / concepts to business line management in understandable terms

Development and Testing

· Thorough understanding of project management and testing methodologies

· Design, develop, test and implement solutions based on project requirements

· Manage application and database source code versions

· Use of Change Management system for documenting and approving changes

· Communicate project progress with all stakeholders of the project

· Work independently or as a member of a team

· Ensure design, code, and documentation comply with established policies and procedures

· Interact with internal / external customers and vendors

Data Extraction, Transformation, and Loading

Technology Research

· Research new technology / software for use in business solutions

· Participate in knowledge sharing of technology with peers

Production Support

· Provide production support for existing applications / systems

· Process adhoc requests for research, data loading / extraction, and reporting

DNR Environmental Management Division is contracting for maintenance and enhancements of the Master Data Layer (MDL) IT database system and other IT systems as needed. The ideal candidate, in addition to Oracle database development skills, would have expert systems development skills using MVC/View-model architecture, Visual Studio with TFS, ASP.NET and C#, understanding of Unit Testing practices, and UI development experience with Angular 2/4.

Develops, implements, and maintains computer based systems to meet business requirements. Application Developer analyze, design, construct, train, and implement application systems. Activities include managing and forecasting vendor licensing programs/requirements, managing netbatch automated jobs queue on distributed network, documenting decisions, adhering to standards and communicating with business groups. Other responsibilities may include providing standards/guidelines for development, responding to customer/client requests or events as they occur, and developing solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgment. Candidate will be part of Advanced Design organization as the full stack application developer. Candidate will be working to cater to the business demands in collaboration other team members, product owners and IP owners.

Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

Qualifications
