Software Engineer Intern

As a Software Engineer, you will work as part of a team creating Acceleration, Ethernet drivers, and tools for the Silicon Validation teams in Intel. Your duties may include, but not be limited to, definition and development of new applications from given requirements specifications, building and improving web applications and software components, participate in the creation of technical documents for system design, maintenance and refactoring of existing modules and applications, developing server-side and client-side code for internal and external applications, writing unit tests, automated regression tests and tracking defects as they occur, supporting and assisting customers from around the globe.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Minimum requirements:

Must be pursuing a MS in Computer Science, Software or related field.

6 + months experience in:

• Software development for enterprise software products, ideally supporting an Agile development process.
• Functional and object-oriented programming using C++Experience in scripting languages e.g., Perl, Python, etc.Experience with systems software for the Linux OS
