Position Overview

The Systems, Analytics & Reporting Administrator – DDO Business Operations oversees and ensures the successful execution of tasks related to the reporting and visualization of metrics and analytics for clinical, functional, and business operations areas. The Reporting Administrator may be responsible for metrics, reporting, collection of requirements, leading of meetings, and generation of dashboards or reports.

The employee in this position will have excellent organizational skills, advanced computer skills, flexibility, attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently and the ability to work to tight timelines.

The employee is expected to perform all the roles encompassed in the preceding grade levels within the job family as required by the organization. Other activities, special projects and assignments may be given as required. As a result, the percentage of time spent across roles for which the employee is responsible for or assisting with will vary depending on project assignments, current development projects and the requirements within the organization as a whole.

The employee must conduct their work activities in compliance with all relevant regulations, ICH, PhRMA, and CFR guidelines, as well as all Allergan policies and procedures. Allergan policies include compliance with ethics, environmental health and safety, financial, human resources, and general business policies, requirements and objectives.

Main Areas of Responsibilities

Interview key leaders and users from various clinical groups to identify business measures, gaps, and improvement opportunities

Research industry Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and propose new internal metrics

Monitor and review metrics with management and assist users to come up with actionable plans

Train and Support users

Design reports using Spotfire

Test and Implement reporting process

Run ad-hoc reports and modify existing ones using SQL

Troubleshoot reporting issues

Work with the following clinical systems to track milestones, timeline, budget, and metrics – Business Intelligence (BI) Clinical Dashboard, Project and Portfolio Management (PPM) system, Clinical Trials Management System (CTMS), Electronic Data Capture (EDC), Interactive Voice Response System (IVRS), Site Start-up Database, Data warehouse

Requirements

The following listed requirements need to be met at a minimum level to be considered for the job:

At least five (5) years of business experience within the Human Resources function, preferably with experience in the life sciences/healthcare products industry

Worked within a sophisticated, complex corporate environment, as defined by size, geographic presence and/or organizational structure

Requirements

Thorough understanding of Good Clinical Practices, ICH guidelines, PhRMA code, clinical research ethics, and patient privacy laws (plus applicable local regulations, when country-based)

General understanding of concepts of clinical research and drug development.

Thorough understanding of reporting, analysis, and metrics

Preferred Skills/Qualification

Excellent organizational skills, advanced computer skills, flexibility, attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently and the ability to work to tight timelines.

Pharmaceutical or Clinical experience is preferred.

Proficient in business analysis and systems reporting with a strong background in Microsoft Excel and macros.

Experience with Microsoft Project, Access, SAP, Business Objects, SQL and Spotfire is desired.

Education

BS/BA degree in Science or Engineering is required
