System Validation Graduate Intern

Job Description

System Validation Interns in the Network Product Group learn how the latest generation of networking products are architected and tested. You will get hands on experience learning how our designs work and then coding tests to validate that functionality. As a System Validation Graduate Intern, you will create validation plans, tests, and test suites, and exercise those tests in emulation, simulation, or real hardware in the lab. In the process, you will train in or develop platform-specific tools and techniques to execute your tests and debug failures. In addition, you will be expected to work alongside other Architecture, Design, and Pre-Silicon Validation engineers as you find bugs and propose fixes to hardware and software. Often, your tests will impact many product generations, so you will also be encouraged to take a fresh look at our methods and use innovative thinking to find and apply improvements. Throughout your internship, you will be mentored by experienced engineers to ensure you have the opportunity to really learn about Intel, our business, and how System Validation fits into it.
