The Senior Project Manager with a minimum of 5-8 years of proven project management experience will oversee fully integrated marketing projects. The SPM will acutely understand the account and creative process. The SPM is responsible for leading work within the marketing department, owning communications and process, and exercising project controls. Experience at a creative agency or managing creatively driven products and deliverables is required. The Senior Project Manager must create and maintain project plans that demonstrate a cohesive understanding of the deliverables, tasks, dependencies, staff resourcing and corporate marketing or agency process. In addition, the SPM must constantly assess project risks and communicate contingency plans to the necessary stakeholders. Responsible for the day-to-day management of all marketing projects, ensuring work is executed flawlessly, on time and on budget. Experience managing people is paramount. Positive, do-what-it-takes attitude is a must, along with the ability to develop inter-departmental relationships within an extremely collaborative setting. Candidates for this position must have a strong track record of delivery across interactive channels and traditional platforms. This role will require close collaboration with multiple business units, creative, development and cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with ambiguity and change, able to focus on the smallest detail as well as drive a team to project completion, keeping the big picture in sight.

Manage all aspects of project development (Initiation, Planning, Execution, Control, and Closing). Project initiation and development, scope and time management, logistics and resource management, cost management and quality management. Project Communication management–manage the information preparation and information flow amidst departments and stakeholders Strong knowledge of account and project management principles, methods and techniques, with comfort in a technical environment

Oversee the delivery and execution process, ensuring and facilitating effective team communication and collaboration. Work with cross-functional teams to accommodate rapid change and deliver work under tight deadlines.

Coordination of and ability to manage a portfolio of projects. Structure and scope complex digital and interactive projects such as websites, direct mail, iOS apps, email and traditional advertising.

Interact with business units daily, as well as set up and attend project meetings as needed.

Rigorous in organization and management, conscientious and adept in solving issues at all levels of a project

Ensure a collaborative ‘One Team’ approach comprising of Brand Creative, business units, ELT and SLT and all Brand Marketing team members. Ability to inspire, support and understand the interplay between people, processes and systems. The candidate must be a strong manager with ability to lead a team to a desired result

Outstanding oral and written communication skills one-on-one and in large groups, with the ability to communicate high-level concepts and overall business direction, organize information quickly and summarizing succinctly.

Qualifications

Marketing, Business, Communications, Advertising, Creative or related field. Or any equivalent combination of relevant background and work experience.

5-8 years of related and proven project management & experience required.

Excellent communication and presentation skills with a thorough understanding of how to communicate effectively in a digital environment.

Experience working in a corporate environment that requires planning and collaboration amongst cross-functional business units.

Experience managing agency relationships, content production or approvals to brand guidelines. Experience with marketing metrics. Thorough understanding of how digital channels drive traffic and how to optimize customer paths by channel through sales funnel.

Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to work independently and make logical business decisions quickly.

Manage expectations and “anxiety” of the project stakeholders.

Be a leader of projects and the agency. Develop Best Practices. Foster confidence and inspire others by example.

Master relevant software and PM systems to keep track of people and progress. All software required to be maximally efficient in this role will be mastered – Excel, Word,PowerPoint, Scheduling software.
