Bread entry level

Zak The Baker is a local, artisanal bakery specializing in sourdough bread and traditional pastries. At 295 NW 26 St in Wynwood, everything is made on site, from scratch. The bakery has achieved steady and rapid growth thanks to its craftsmanship and high quality standards that have nurtured a strong reputation in the food and beverage community. Our wholesale operations supply fresh bread and pastry to hotels, restaurants and retail locations in South Florida, including Whole Foods Market.

The candidate will have :

– the ability to work overnight hours, day time hours and weekends according to production schedule,

– a strong sense of urgency,

– a strong attention to detail,

– respect for the craft of bread baking,

– reliability, punctuality,

– the ability to maintain a clean and tidy work space,

– the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and stand for the entire shift,

– good interpersonal skills, team player,

– the ability to take directions.

Salary: $12.00 to $13.00 /hour
