Responsibilities

Senior Oracle EBS (RLM) Developer/Analyst is to be able to:

· Create, enhance, upgrade, support and maintain customer mission critical business applications by providing subject matter expertise regarding capabilities of standard Oracle EBS R12.

· Serve as primary liaison between end-users and development team to ensure quality and timeliness throughout projects.

· Quickly learn existing business processes and combine knowledge from multiple disciplines to produce optimal business solutions to leverage the capabilities of Oracle EBS.

· Provide strong technical and functional leadership during all phases of system development life cycle and responsible for leading project team, including end users, on activities pertaining to the design, development, testing and documentation of Oracle Applications projects.

· Design, architect and configure solutions in Oracle EBS for various modules for various Velcro Group of Companies. Lead multiple projects and project teams of onsite/offshore developers/analysts.

· Gather project requirements from project stakeholders and develop project scope, project charter and estimate time and resources needed to achieve Oracle EBS implementation success and ongoing support goals.

· Track key project milestones and adjust project plans and/or resources to meet business needs and requirements; coordinate with all stakeholders that impact the scope, budget, risk and resources of the project; prepare standard and ad hoc management reports and lead project meetings with team members.

· Develop comprehensive cutover plan, implement and manage the same in timely manner, lead the go-live and provide post production support for Oracle Applications projects.

· Analyze and identify gaps within Oracle EBS and drive innovative and creative approaches to problem solving, resulting in quality deliverables which support overall departmental and corporate business strategy and keep projects/deliverables aligned with project timelines.

· Communicate with customers and vendors to resolve issues in RLM implementations and provide technical and functional expertise in integrating RLM functions and system within Oracle EBS.

· Design and maintain new and existing data integrations between EDI and Oracle RLM.

· Test, validate and communicate upgrades and patches applied to Oracle RLM on a regular basis.

· Manage service requests (SR) with Oracle Support.

· Oversight of offshore developers assigned to projects or maintenance activities. Review of deliverables, adherence to SDLC and policies.

· Assist business users in development and documentation of key business processes.

· Write and maintain documentation to describe application development, logic, coding, testing, changes, modifications, installation and usage.

· Train end-users or technical support staff to use custom applications.

· Strong ability to identify and translate business requirements into technology solutions, including testing and all implementation activities.

· Recommend changes in methods, procedures or policies to improve Oracle EBS performance and initiate change accordingly.

· Develop new forms and reports and customize existing standard Oracle EBS modules.

· Create test transactions and run tests to find errors and confirm program needs specifications. Analyze code to find causes of errors and revise programs.

· Provide off-hours support to resolve critical problems if they occur.

· Set and control scope, conduct risk management and conduct scope and change management.

· Work under very tight deadlines with the ability to manage issues and projects to consistently meet deadlines.

· Communicate status of initiatives to business owners and stakeholders regularly.

· Perform other related duties as assigned.

· Commit to deliver tasks on time and in acceptable quality manner.

· Collaborate with offshore/local developers and consultants.

Key Skills/Experience

· 8+ years of experience with Oracle EBS R12/11i.

· Hands-on technical and functional with Oracle EBS and Oracle development tools.

· Strong knowledge & expertise of Oracle EBS R12, especially RLM module.

· Minimum two Oracle RLM full life-cycle implementations with EDI integration.

· 3 to 5 years of experience in Oracle RLM.

· Solid experience with integration of inbound 830 and 862 documents with Oracle RLM (Release Management)

· Experience and understanding of other EDI documents like POI,DSNO etc.

· Thorough understanding of Oracle Release Management Setup & It’s impact

· Good understanding of Oracle Order to Cash and Procure to Pay cycles end to end.

· Ability to talk to technical and non-technical team members, users and third-parties.

· Ability to work/coordinate with offshore and local developers, consultants and users for end to end solutions.

· Knowledge of SQL & PLSQL for Oracle Databases and support business application.

· Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Desirable Skills/Experience

· Experience with EDI systems (Liaison, Gentran, etc.).

· Experience in automotive industry or working with customers in automotive industry.

Qualifications

· Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Business Administration, Finance or equivalent discipline.
