QC Analyst

Perform the raw material, in process or finished good testing procedures to ensure that all components/products meet their predetermined specifications at each stage of testing procedure and product life -cycle. To perform QC testing and troubleshooting of in-process and finished products.

Perform the required QC testing in accordance to company Standard Operating Procedures and applicable regulatory standards.

Evaluate the chemical and physical properties of various organic and inorganic substances such as active and in-active raw materials in order to verify the compliance with the established specifications.

Performs reagent qualification testing.

Documents all testing and maintains laboratory notebooks.

Perform QC inspections as required.

Maintain inventory and disburse materials as required.

Perform routine instrument calibrations and maintenance.

Review SOPs and specifications for continued applicability.

Comply with Laboratory safety and OSHA safety requirements

Responsible for ensuring compliance with quality system related to department responsibilities.

Other duties as assigned.

Associates Degree (AS/AA) in Biological or life science or equivalent experience.

1-2 years of experience in laboratory environment (Medical Device or Clinical preferred)

FL Licensure for Clinical personnel a plus

Must be able to understand and follow written procedures in English.

Good written and verbal communication skills

Knowledge of FDA and ISO regulations is a plus

Computer and laboratory skills.
