Project Quality Manager

The project quality manager (PQM) is part of a team lead by an account manager. As PQM you will ensure the success of design projects by carefully checking designs for quality before delivery, and providing guidance back to designers. You must be able to learn the preferences and tendencies of both clients and designers to guarantee successful projects. You will also work closely with the account manager to help provide excellent customer service to clients.

Responsibilities

• Project-level client communication
• Write clear briefs and launch projects
• Track and drive projects’ progress from placement through to completion
• Learn client’s brands and preferences
• Perform detailed quality checks before delivering to client
• Provide feedback to designers so that clients get the work they need done
• Provide support and coaching to clients to help them get the best design outcomes
• Deliver projects on time and on budget
• Responsible for retention of accounts that ADM assigns to you
• Set project task length for designers
• Collaborate with ADM and other PQMs to determine best designer for a given project
• Generally support the ADM to deliver a great experience to clients
• Escalate issues and important opportunities to the ADM

Requirements:

• Familiarity with PPT, and Adobe suite
• Basic eye for design and branding, or able to learn quickly
• Eager to work closely with designers and art directors
• QC skills – Highly organized, detail oriented, and dedicated follow through
• Strong communication skills
• Able to collaborate well with a team
• Able to understand clients’ needs and match them to team members’ talents
• Able to communicate with and explain details to clients who may not be familiar with design
• “Whatever it takes” mentality
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities
• Thrives in changing environment
