WHAT PROBLEMS WILL YOU BE SOLVING?

A Project Manager takes ownership of the software development schedule for a product release, and has overall responsibility for leading 1) the definition of the schedule’s milestones, tasks, assignment of resources to tasks; 2) preparation for engineering commitment; 3) monitoring the progress of the software development process towards milestones based on various metrics and 4) providing weekly reports for Calabrio software products. The Project Manager is a conscientious self-starter who looks beyond their own work assignments to make sure the overall goals of the department and requirements of software products are being met. The Project Manager works directly with the Product Engineering Management team.

WHAT SKILLS WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL?

  • Drive cross-functional team to define the overall project schedule
  • Definition of project plan including tasks, milestones and resources.
  • Monitoring/reporting progress based on data analysis, risk assessment, and proposing schedule changes.
  • Drive project-related activities (e.g. engineering commitments, Engineering Field Trials, Transfers Of Information, Post-Project Assessments, legal certifications, etc.) as necessary
  • Driving of product teams’ weekly meetings, generation of reports.
  • Investigate, recommend, and provide training on project management tools.
  • Responsible for external communication with partners on deliverables, schedules, progress, and Engineering Field Trials.
  • Provide process leadership on all phases of the development effort for new products and corresponding feature and service releases.

WHAT IS REQUIRED FOR YOU TO APPLY?

  • B.A. or B.S. or equivalent experience preferred
  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in the software industry
  • Demonstrated project management expertise
  • Prior experience developing or managing software development teams preferred.
  • Ability to travel up to 20%
