Programmer

Responsible for developing and supporting software solutions for the company’s business needs.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Interacts with Business Support Analyst to develop business solutions

Responsible for developing and testing new software solutions, which will include windows applications, websites, and reports

Responsible for developing and testing changes to existing business solutions

Responsible for performance development and testing to new and existing solutions

Responsible for internal/external documentation that supports solutions

Responsible for database development that will support software solutions

Responsible for consulting with Director of Systems and Programming to clarify solution intent, identify changes, and suggest changes to new and existing software

Qualifications

Job Specifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, and/or Information Systems

Minimum 3 years of previous development experience

In depth .NET development experience (VB or C#)

In depth database development experience

Experience in managing software developed by outside vendors, other developers, etc.

Experience with Crystal and/or SQL Reports

Motivated to continue to improve software development skill

Strong self-sufficiency and initiative to working on software development projects

Strength in using logic and reason to identify strengths and weaknesses in proposed solutions

Strong adaptive skills to implement changes to software designs

Strong time management skills to achieve solution deadlines

Strong math skills to solve business needs

Well-developed interpersonal and communication skill
