Product Designer II

Concierge Auctions is aiming to solve the largest problems in the real estate industry through cutting edge technology. We are looking for a a contract Product Designer II to join our team in changing real estate. This collaborative role will place you in cross-functional teams aiming to solve complex business problems with a consistent and delightful user experience across all phases of the customer journey. Based on the size and impact of each project, you’ll be responsible for carrying out Product Design and UX research with the goal of identifying our users’ pain points and validating/invalidating your hypotheses. This includes but is not limited to: user journey mapping, user story mapping, usability tests via Usertesting.com & Optimizely, in-person interviews, and analyzing the results to come out with actionable insights. This position is an excellent opportunity to learn new skills and methodologies while expanding your creative abilities.

Qualifications Needed

• Online portfolio or compilation of past work that showcases your UX process and methodology
• Ability to effectively communicate concepts and detailed solutions, both verbally and visually
• 2+ years of experience working on large-scale websites, native and web mobile applications, and content management systems
• Lean UX Knowledge
• Proficiency in responsive design
• Axure RP
• Expert knowledge of Adobe CC (Photoshop & Illustrator)
• Designing wireframes and prototypes that reflect the insights gained from UX research
• Ability to create and manipulate beautiful high fidelity designs
• Superb information design abilities, fastidious and efficient production and optimization habits, and impeccable problem solving skills
• Confidence to think about high-level product vision, understand constraints, and contribute to a fantastic user experience
• Proficient understanding of usability and UX best practices
• Ability to develop personas
• Conducting competitor and customer analysis
• Proactive, collaborative and responsible individual
• Idealistic, yet pragmatic
• Great taste and aesthetic sensibility
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment

Not Required, But Nice to Have

• Experience running usability tests with end-users and internal stakeholders to better understand their goals
• Storyboarding skills: the ability to tell the story of a design from end to end and map out the user’s journey
• Interaction Design
• Knowledge of Material Design standards
• Ability to code prototypes in HTML/CSS/JS
• Adobe After Effects or a similar tool
• Experience with the Lean Startup methodology
• Degree in visual design, HCI, or psychology

A portfolio of relevant work is required for consideration. It should illustrate your involvement and how you contributed to solving specific problems through various UX methodologies.
