Payroll Manager

***Experience as a Payroll Manager for Petrochemical Plants & Refineries is required***

Universal Plant Services Corporate office is searching for a Payroll Manager at our Corporate office in Northeast Houston in Deer Park!

Education & Experience:

A minimum of 15 years of hand on experience in processing hourly/salary in an Industrial Services environment, using an in house payroll system (Viewpoint) and handling Union & Non-Union payrolls. Responsible for all payroll taxes reporting via ADP (40 States) and Union reporting (14 Unions).

Requirements:

-Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

-Certified Payroll Professional designation preferred

-Knowledge of accounting principles and practices

-In depth knowledge and experience of payroll calculation and process

-Managerial/supervisory experience

-Knowledge of applicable local, state and federal payroll taxes.

-Experience in union laws and audit

-Proficiency in relevant payroll and accounting software.

Salary Range is $90K to $120K
