Medical Records Coder II Non Remote (Full Time/Day)

Join us NOW as our Physician Coding Department is seeking a Medical Records Coder II to join our team. This position reviews physician/provider documentation not limited to ambulatory visits, hospital visits and or surgeries to assign the appropriate ICD-10-CM (International Classification of diseases, Clinical Modification-10th Revision), CPT (Current Procedural Terminology and/or HCPCS codes) for the purposes or reimbursement, regulations compliance and research. Must be able to communicate effectively with physicians/providers on coding guidelines, policies and procedures.

Requirements:
CPC or CCSP Certification

Certified Professional Coder (CPC) Certified Coding Specialist (CCS)

Minimum of 2 years demonstrated proficiency in Physician Coding

Preferred:
Surgical Coding/Oncology Coding
