Marketing Intern, Travel Retail Americas (Miami)

The Travel Retail Americas’ Marketing team ensures the launch of the Dior Fragrances, Skin Care & Makeup products in the entire region (North America, Central America and South America).

The intern will be part of the Marketing Product team, composed by a Group Manager and two Marketing Coordinators, who define the Marketing plan and the Product & POSM strategy.

Main learning outputs of the Internship Program

Ability to take part in the construction of an entire Cycle : from the definition of the strategy, to the launch of a product, and the follow-up of its performance

Communication Skills through many interactions with our co-workers: Sales Area Managers, Retail Managers, Trade Marketing team, Visual Merchandiser team, and forecasters.

Knowledge about the House and our products, the Travel Retail market and the competitors

Main Duties

Leading the weekly newsletter to be sent to the entire Team, in coordination with the Visual Merchandising, Trade Marketing and Retail teams

In charge of the creation of the Novelties Booklets for each cycle: from the redaction until the printing and the sending to the commercial team

Help with the update of the Marketing tools used by the entire team: assortment coding, Novelties file, Line Up & Weights of our products, follow-up of the weekly communication in the Catalog

Help the team in defining the strategy for the next launches: analysis of the market and of the performance of our past launches

In charge of sending the Press releases for each important launch

In charge of testing the Ipad applications for each product’s launch and sending feedback to the Central teams in Paris

PROFILE

Bachelor Degree in Marketing

Fluent in English and Spanish

Prior experience as Marketing Assistant would be appreciated

Understanding and knowledge of Luxury and cosmetic products

Be proficient in Microsoft Office (mainly Excel & PowerPoint)

Curiosity, desire for learning
