Managing Director — Florida and Carribean

F & R Star is an international Furnishing and Interior Design Company serving both individuals and corporations.

Our growing organization is currently seeking an experienced Managing Director to control and oversee all business operations for Florida and the Caribbean.

• You will be the highest-ranking manager in the Florida and Caribbean Region and will be responsible for the overall success of our business in that area.
• The ideal candidate will be a strategist and a leader able to steer the company to the most profitable direction while also implementing its vision, mission and long-term goals.
• The goal is to ensure the company is constantly moving towards fulfilling its short-term and long-term objectives and does not diverge from its strategic guidelines.

The ideal candidate should have experience in the international market and knowledge of the import and export procedures in both the United States and our Caribbean markets.

Requirements

• Proven experience as Managing Director or other managerial position
• Thorough knowledge of market changes and forces that influence the company
• 5 years Experience in Sales and Management
• 5 years Experience in the furniture and/or interior design industry (international experience preferred)
• 3 years Experience in International Import/Export Business
• Computer Skills including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Great Interpersonal Skills
• Fluent English and Spanish both written and spoken
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities
• BSc/BA in business administration or relevant field; MSc/MA will be preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $140,000.00 /year
