General Description:
Under the general direction of the Director of Business Analytics, plans, organizes and directs budgeting and management reporting.
Essential Responsibilities:

  • Plans, organizes and manages the budgeting process for all OUMS entities
  • Interacts with operational and financial leaders to provide data and analysis as well as understand operational needs that will drive budget
  • Produce management reports and analytics to measure performance and work with leaders to ensure adherence to budget expectations
  • Develop pro forma projections in cooperation with project leads to assist with strategic decision-making
  • Interact with finance and decision support staff
  • Ensures all deadlines are met

Qualifications


Minimum Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, business administration or a closely related field; and

Experience: Five (5) years of professional level experience in fiscal management OR an equivalent combination of education and experience

Licensure/Certifications/Registrations Required: None

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Knowledge of accounting, budgeting, decision support, and financial analysis. Knowledge of the structure, function, and management of a large healthcare organization. Knowledge of the principles and practices involved in planning, organizing, staffing, and budgeting activities. Skill in managing employees in the accomplishment of organizational objectives. Skill in effective communications, both verbally and in writing including producing analytical reports for all levels of management. Ability to make sound decisions in a timely manner. Ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with others.
