Junior/Entry Level Videogame Programmer (PC, XboxOne, PS4)

EQ-Games ( www.eq-games.com ) has expanded to Midtown Atlanta and is looking for an entry-level videogame programmer. We are currently working on the following projects:

• Road Redemption – a 3d motorcycle action/racing game (PC, Xbox One, PS4) – currently in beta – ( http://store.steampowered.com/app/300380/ )
• Unannounced online first person shooter (PC, Xbox One, PS4)
• Unannounced 3d racing arcade machine with gambling elements (PC, PS4, arcade)
• Unannounced 3d fantasy dragon game with gambling elements (PC, PS4, arcade)
• Unannounced free-to-play browser based game with anime art

EQ-Games is a well-funded videogame developer and indie videogame publisher, with a commitment to high quality, technically excellent games that people are proud to put on their resumes!

Responsibilities:

• Constructing gameplay systems from the ground up
• Debugging and optimizing existing gameplay systems
• Thinking creatively and critically
• Working closely with other coders to contribute on game architecture and technical design
• Assist designers and artists to realize their ideas in the Unity game engine
• Write extensible and easily maintained game code using C# in the Unity game engine.
• Assist in building 2d/3d UI
• Work closely with engineers, designers, artists, producers and playtesters to make great games.

Desired Experience/Skills :

• A love for and knowledge of videogames
• Strong experience in C#, java, python, C++ or equivalent. C++ proficiency a plus
• Strong 2D/3D math and/or physics skills
• Experience in the Unity engine a plus
• Ability to collaborate with team members to bring gameplay to life
• BS Computer Science or equivalent professional or hobby experience
• Proactive and motivated to learn and work well within team
