In partnership with key stakeholders, Finance Change work to create cutting-edge business solutions using deep functional expertise.

Finance Change aim to deliver strategic initiatives using leading project management and business analysis as Finance Change pursue the goal of protecting and enhancing shareholder value through optimizing the use of financial resources.

This is a permanent position within Finance Change, supporting the implementation of the Risk Based P&L (RBPL) Analysis Platform within Credit Suisse’s Product Control division.

Risk Based P&L Analysis is critical to the firm’s ability to monitor portfolio risk and allows a higher degree of control to be exercised during Balance Sheet and P&L reviews. It provides Product Controllers with the information necessary to independently validate P&L:

Quantifying the types of risk present in a given portfolio

Apply those risks against broader market movements

As a Regional Analyst, a successful candidate will be able to work independently to manage the successful implementation of the RBPL process for in-scope businesses located in the Americas (AMS) region. The analyst’s core objective will be to validate test results delivered by the project workstream, communicate those results to regional and global management, and track the project’s progress against pre-determined success criteria.

This Role involves:
Daily Measurement of RBPL test results

Understanding Product Control’s daily P&L process

Analysing the “Greeks” used to measure sensitivity in a trading portfolio

Performing Functional and User Acceptances Testing (UAT)

Providing data analysis and metrics

Tracking test results against pre-defined qualitative and quantitative success criteria

Regional and Global communication with members of the project team and project stakeholders

You Offer

Experience working with Financial Products

Working knowledge of Product Control’s day to day responsibilities

Solid analytical skills and ability to define and apply logical approaches to issue resolution

Solid Communication (written, verbal, presentational) skills

Expertise with Excel and Access

Accuracy and Attention to Detail
