  • Responsibilities:

  • Must have atleast 20 Desktop Technicians reprting to you.
  • Undertake a weekly review of the First Line Service Desk call queues.
  • Ensure that the Service Desk is an excellent deliverer of Customer Service.
  • Supervise IT personnel in scheduling and completing tasks and status reports, assisting with problem escalation.
  • Creating an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture.
  • Discover training needs and provide coaching.
  • Listening to team members’ feedback and resolve any issues or conflicts.
  • Assists human resources by interviewing prospective candidates and processing voluntary and involuntary terminations.
  • Conduct disciplinary hearings.
  • Trained/mentor the team to deliver the best possible results for the Business, Escalations being part of the Business.
  • Rating employees KPI’s/KPA’s and Performance contracts.
  • Monitoring SLA’s on ServiceNow and Newscale.
  • Creating weekly SLA reports.
