Job Description:
POSITION SUMMARY: Position provides a wide variety of tasks related to maintaining current employees and the hiring of new employees to the agency. These tasks may include selection, processing, orientation, in-service, tracking & follow up on employee requirements, and assisting with employee records.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Provides excellent customer service to internal and field employees.
  • Handles employee issues tactfully and courteously.
  • Enters and updates employee information into HBOC and ADP.
  • Examines documentation for applicant identification in support of employment requirements.
  • Maintains current employee information and submits to be filed in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Tracks and follows up with employees regarding initial and on-going work requirements.
  • Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service.
  • Answers phone calls and follows through with employee and client requests as appropriate and assists with walk in clients and field staff.
  • Conducts WOTC, EI-9, ADP Portal registration, and ADP password resets.
  • Conducts themselves in a safe manner and looks for ways to improve the overall safety of their environment.
  • Assisting with orientation as needed.
  • Completes reference checks, set’s interview schedule and assists in interviewing field employees.
  • Schedules and grades all required tests and any elective in-service modules completed.
  • Participates in Quality Improvement teams and activities as assigned.
  • Performs initial employee file audits and file building.
  • Performs MVD background and abuse registry checks, tracking and logging if necessary.
  • Interviewing process including but not limited to: scheduling interviews, reviewing applications for completeness, readability, and experience, conducting /interviews, submitting MVD forms, reference checks, and, offering job.
  • Assist with crafting name badges for PSD, Hospice, and Intermittent office staff and field staff.
  • Assist with filling out fingerprint cards, complete fingerprinting for field staff and office employees as needed.
  • Provides ongoing support to all Heritage PSD locations.
  • Assists with providing backup coverage for reception
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
