Healthcare Call Center Representative

Overview:

We are seeking a Healthcare Call Center Representative for an opportunity with one of our direct clients in Raleigh, NC. This is a long-term contract with the possibility of going perm.

Work Schedule: Monday thru Friday, first shift hours.

*No nights or weekends.

Responsibilities:

• Answers incoming phone calls ( Avg. 50 calls per day) behalf of the client and provide accurate and appropriate information to the participants or Providers.
• Places outbound customer service or customer satisfaction calls, as required by the client.
• Completes call guides; gathers and verifies required information.
• Attends telephone skills and program information training sessions; adheres to established levels of service.
• Adheres to established customer service and documentation standards within required time frames.
• Adheres to contact center scheduling, ensures telephone coverage during contact center hours of operation.
• Performs clerical or administrative duties as assigned.
• Qualifications:
• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• 1+ years of customer service and call center experience
• Experience working with fax machines, computer software, and telephone technology
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to follow oral and written directions
• Medicaid or healthcare experience is highly preferred.
• Bilingual is highly desired.
