Garnishment Coordinator

TForce headquartered in Dallas, Texas, is a leading provider of same-day transportation and logistics services in the United States and Canada. Through its network of branch offices, TForce provides same-day, on-demand, and door-to-door delivery services utilizing its ground and motor couriers for many of its inter- city deliveries. In addition to traditional on-demand delivery services, TForce offers distribution and dedicated/outsource services.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the daily importing and processing of multi-location independent contractor commission vouchers for weekly payment cycles.

  • Responsible for daily importing, reconciling and posting of independent contractor commission settlements for weekly and bi-weekly payment cycles to independent contractors
  • Responsible for entry of manual check requests for unscheduled commission related payments and adjustments
  • Ensure invoices, commissions and manual check requests are accurately processed and adhere to internal audit requirements and standards
  • Contact local branch offices to resolve outstanding checks and determine unclaimed property status
  • Calculate, enter and maintain state and federal garnishment orders for active independent contractors
  • Research and respond to branch and contractor inquires
  • Maintain log of special handling requests weekly
  • Research and assist with 1099 year end processing and inquires
  • Scan weekly accounts payable batches utilizing Laser Fiche system
  • Assist with check run processing as needed
  • Special projects as assigned by Accounts Payable Manager

Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED

Experience:

  • 3 years accounts payable and/or payroll experience

Skills & Abilities:

  • Oracle A/P experience a plus
  • Familiarity with state garnishment IRS, child support, retail, etc.) and withholding requirements
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products (i.e. Word, Outlook)
  • Solid excel skills (spreadsheets and formulas) including template uploads and interface imports
  • Analytical ability for problem solving and resolution
  • Must be proactive and goal driven to meet deadlines
  • Proven multi-tasking and strong organizational skills
  • 10K by touch (min. 10,000KPH (97% or higher accuracy)
  • Strong verbal and written skills in dealing with vendors, independent contractors and branch personnel
  • Strong vendor and internal customer relations skills
  • Able to lift normal office supplies up to 15 lbs. EOE
