Financial Analyst

EarthKind is looking for a Financial Analyst for either its Bismarck, North Dakota location or the Mooresville, North Carolina location .

This is an exempt, salaried, full-time position with competitive compensation, benefits, and a bonus.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Financial Analyst at EarthKind supports the Accounting Team by conducting detailed analysis of revenue, expenses and overhead; provides financial planning and strategy to help senior management make critical decisions about expense management and the company’s future growth.

REQUIREMENTS

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in finance or accounting (MBA preferred)
  • Proven track record of working with large groups or teams to implement changes resulting from financial analysis
  • Proficient in data mining, extrapolation, and data modeling
  • 5+ years of experience working in finance and/or accounting
  • Demonstrated ability to assess and communicate risks timely and accurately
  • Experience in a high revenue growth organization
  • Must have PC proficiency with various software applications to include MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Expert knowledge of NetSuite preferred
  • CPA certification preferred
  • Multi-site experience preferred

ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Primary responsibility is to create, maintain, and distribute financial reporting from NetSuite ERP to include all accounting areas of responsibility (e.g. Cash, A/R, A/P, Payroll,
  • Compile and analyze financial reports to identify trends/anomalies for management review
  • Perform cash flow modeling and risk assessments
  • Execute existing financial reports with reliable conclusions that management can use to implement more effective operational strategies
  • Identify and create new financial models, reports, and diagnostics to support management decision making process
  • Forecast models for revenue changes and expenditure increases/decreases
  • Reconcile transactions by comparing and correcting data
  • Protect operations by keeping financial information confidential
  • Support other members of the accounting team to include cross training on the following responsibilities but not limited to: Journal Entries/Credit Memos, A/R invoicing (NetSuite and SPS EDI), banking activities, collections notifications, A/P invoice entry, and filing of vendor disputes
  • Other duties as assigned
