In this IT Business Intelligence Developer Lead role, you will participate in the technical design and vision of new applications and ensuring successful implementation. Participates in design and code reviews, incorporate security requirements into the design and provide input to the information/data flow. Comply with project life cycle methodology and adhere to IT control policies and guidelines. Incorporate corporate architectural standards into application design specifications. Identify applicable system platform, components, and dependencies. Document application specifications and provide uniform integration into legacy systems.

Specific Responsibilities include:
Work with Compliance, Finance and Operations areas to elicit and document business requirements

Develop, Deploy and support large-scale distributed applications in a mission-critical production environment

Translate business requirements to a high level technical design and implementation

Develop test plans and perform code reviews

Monitor milestones and critical dates to identify potential jeopardy of schedule and identify / mitigate risk

Qualifications

8+ years as Business Intelligence Professional

Domain expertise in Investment or Finance is desired

Excellent client-facing

Proven strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.

Proven track record for data driven decision making.

Demonstrated team-building skills, including leadership, personnel recruitment, retention, hiring, delegation and development.

Organizational skills, problem-solving skills with close attention to detail

Familiarity with the agile and scrum methodologies

Test Driven Development & Pair Programming Skills

Architect/Developer, demonstrate experience working with a combination of tools and technologies to include:

·

Enterprise Reporting Tool Experience, such as Cognos or Business Objects.

·

ETL tools, such as Pentaho or DataStage

·

Oracle 11g, including PL/SQL and stored procedures

·

JavaScript, working with JSON data

·

UNIX shell scripting (1 year +)

·

Data Modeling and Data Warehouse experience

Desired experience as Java developer

·

Core Java J2SE with Java 6

·

Java Memory Management Fundamentals

·

Multi-threaded Programming

·

Java Frameworks i.e. Spring; Hibernate

·

MQ/JMS

·
