ERP Solutions Developer

This Developer facilitates business process definition and modeling for the ERP Solutions development environment. They work with the end users to define reporting requirements, convert them into functional specifications, assess them against standard business
content, and determine the required overall for SAP Business Objects. They also perform L2 and L3 support activities in conjunction with SAP Business objects management team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyzes requirements, leads client interface, reviews data requirements, discovers business process details for input to functional & technical specs and develops, tests, debugs, maintains, and supports custom programs.
• Demonstrate experience in SAP Business Objects tools like Universe Design, Information Design tool, web intelligence, dashboard design tools like Xcelsius, Lumira.
• Contributes to the overall organizational Business Intelligence strategy and possesses a strong understanding of SQL Server, Business Objects and SAP applications.
• Responsible for developing and enhancing the BI Applications to support the business requirements.
• Demonstrates proficiency for standard SAP configuration and internally developed solutions or custom programs, including Net Weaver, XI and R/3.
• Creates SRS, RFD (TRS / HLD / PDD etc.)that can be used for implementation.
• Possesses working knowledge and problem solving skills related to SAP BW, SAP BW Web Application Designer and BW Adaptors.
• Provides quality assurance over the BI functional/technical solution.
• Manages the overall BI Reporting factory, including outsourced and/or offshore if needed.
• Provides training to process owner(s) and end users for any changes resulting from problem resolution.
• Reports problem resolution status as necessary to the service desk or to the functional owner of the problem.
• Serves on SAP Business Objects Support Team.
• Updates design and testing documentation for any changes that occur.

Required skills/experience:

• Bachelor’s in Science Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent working experience.
• 3-5 years of experience with SAP BusinessObjects (BOBJ) products
• 3+ years’ experience in a BI department in any field/industry.
• 5+ years’ experience with SQL Query
• Experience development of reports utilizing standard BI tools and of requirements documentation preferred.
