Distribution Operations Manager

Concordance Healthcare Solutions LLC has a brand-new opening for a Distribution Operations Manager in our Legacy Kreisers Division in Sioux Falls, SD. This person will report directly to the Executive Vice President of Operations and will be responsible for managing multiple distribution centers (DCs) across several states. This is an excellent opportunity for the right person as we grow our business.

​ A Distribution Operations Manager will drive performance and include the oversight of personnel, receiving, inventory, shipping, logistics, fiscal and facilities activities at Legacy Kreisers warehouse locations.

What You Will Do:

• Support and develop Warehouse Managers through communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures; mentoring and guiding in all phases of their work including operations and personnel issues.
• Provide oversight to multiple distribution centers. Review, recommend, and develop changes in operations, processes and systems. Ensure the proper implementation and maintenance of approved changes
• Drive consistency and cost reduction through the creation and implementation of standardized work processes. Closely monitor distribution results and execution against company standards
• Ensure the highest standards are achieved in the DCs in the areas of safety, personnel, efficiency and product quality complying with all company policies and legal regulations
• Proactively work with cross functional teams, both internal and external, to ensure that the company meets or exceeds the expectations of our customers. Investigate service failures, and develop, implement and monitor appropriate corrective and preventative action.
• Oversee the company fleet to ensure safe operation and management, following all company policies and legal requirements
• Meet DC financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances and initiating corrective actions.
• Assist in developing warehouse design by planning layout, product flow, and product handling systems; evaluating and recommending new equipment.
• Collaborate and communicate with external suppliers to develop strong and effective relationships that support the company s growth and profitability plans.
• Provide leadership to team members by exhibiting a positive attitude while navigating through industry and company changes.
• Participate in company meetings, initiatives as appropriate. Be an active participant in sharing best practices, solution-based selling techniques and industry knowledge with team members.

This is a full-time, exempt position. Some travel is required.

What You Need to be Successful :

• Minimum of 10 years of warehouse and distribution experience including increasing responsibility and leadership of projects and teams of considerable size, scope, and complexity preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in a Warehouse Manager position with responsibility overseeing personnel and operations of multiple locations preferred.
• Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience in related field preferred.
• Broad working knowledge of DC processes and operations. Thorough knowledge of RF Scanner and WMS systems functionality.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications and ERP Systems
• Possess solid analytical abilities.
• Must be a self-starter and able to successfully execute initiatives with some guidance and accomplish stated goals.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Must have experience in training, developing and providing direction to staff.
• Must be able to work effectively as part of a leadership team.
• Demonstrated leadership, decision making, and problem solving skills
• Ability to build relationships at various levels and influence decisions.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and employment background check.
