Customer Service Representative

Power Products LLC, in Menomonee Falls, WI is adding a Customer Service Representative to their team. Reporting to the Customer Service Supervisor, this position significantly contributes to the overall satisfaction and retention of Marine and Mobile customers. The Customer Service Representative is the first point of contact and works to provide an outstanding customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides proactive and superior service to all external and internal customers. This responsibility includes maintaining a professional and positive attitude at all times.
  • Manages the processing and on time delivery of all customer orders received via multimedia avenues including Customer Portals, EDI, e-mail and fax.
  • Executes on customer inquiries including product pricing, product availability, order expediting, product questions and general service related questions.
  • Processes product returns following company guidelines
  • Takes ownership and resolves all internal and external customer problems identifying root cause issues and corrective actions
  • Works with cross functional teams to fulfill and expedite orders, proactively communicating issues or changes in delivery to customers
  • Develops a general working knowledge of the product line and is familiar with promotions and pricing schedules – including the ability to answer customer questions that cross competitive product lines.
  • Identify opportunities to improve our order management processes. Participate in continuous improvement efforts.
  • Works closely with Sales Managers and Sales reps to support and enhance customer relationships.

Required Skills:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word)
  • Oracle experience a plus
  • Demonstrated high sense of urgency; strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work well independently and as a team member
  • Willing to work overtime, when necessary

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
  • 1-3 years of customer service and or call center experience
  • Minimal to no travel required
