They alert their clients of new products and promotions, take orders, ensure deliveries and even coordinate returns. We’re looking for a full time Consumer Electronics Account Representative for our Olathe, Kansas headquarters.

We are looking for a full time Consumer Electronics Account Representative for our headquarters in Olathe, Kansas. In this role you will inform customers of unit prices, shipping date, inventory availability, anticipated delays, and any additional information needed by customer, answer and handle customer phone calls, faxes and emails to ensure customer requests are processed and accurately enter orders into Oracle, verifying that customer purchase orders matches Oracle order & communicate any variances to customer. Other essential functions include:

Follow up on orders to ensure delivery by specified dates, run open orders report as requested

Process and follow up with customer requests, inquiries and complaints in a timely manner

Communicate with Order Analyst, Production, Sales, Shipping, Warehouse and any other personnel needed to assist in the processing of the customer orders

Follow up on miss-shipped orders and complete shipping discrepancy form

Follow up on damaged orders and complete the incident form

Issue Return Material Authorizations and credit memos when applicable

Recommend the sale of additional or required merchandise to customer

Qualifications

Qualified candidates will possess a high school diploma or GED, minimum of 1 year previous customer service experience and demonstrate proficiency and effective ten key skills. Other requirements include:

Demonstrated strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Must be team-oriented, possess a positive attitude and work well with others

Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a flexible, fast paced and challenging environment

Must be detail-oriented and have the ability to work proactively and effectively with minimal supervision

Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite

Candidates who are fully knowledgeable in all aspects of an order entry system and/or possess a thorough understanding of Oracle management, order administration experience in a business to business environment, Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) experience and a college degree; or 3+ years related experience and/or training are preferred. Bilingual in Spanish, French and Portuguese is highly preferred!
