Job Title: Casino Financial Analyst

For the Global Casino Operations group, the Casino Financial Analyst will assist in compiling financial plans and forecasts and reports on the results. Additionally, the Casino Financial Analyst will assist in compiling the financial results of marketing programs and perform other financial analytics. The position also assists with financial projects, as needed.

Essential Functions

Financial Planning Assist in compilation of financial budgets and forecasts Prepare reports to be presented to management Develop methods to streamline budgeting and forecasting process

Marketing Results Reporting Extract data from various systems/files and compile financial results of marketing programs Prepare reports and provide to Operations and Marketing Provide reports and source data to Marketing Analytics for analysis purposes

Financial Analytics Extract financial data from various systems/files for purposes of performing analysis Link various sources of financial data together to make comparisons and draw conclusions Interpret data and present results concisely to management

Projects & Other Management requests, as needed

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or Statistics

Experience: 1- 2 years of experience in financial planning and other analytical functions

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Positive, team player attitude with a desire to learn Ability to learn and adapt to change Excellent analytical and problem solving skills Strong organizational and administrative skills Strong written & oral communication skills Detail-oriented, with a high degree of accuracy in work product Ability to manage time effectively, set priorities and meet deadlines Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently Self-motivated with ability to work independently or as part of a team and comfortable working with all levels of management Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint and experience with Word and Outlook Familiarity with Oracle Financials and IBM Cognos TMl software is a plus Skilled with query/reporting tools
