Job Summary

The Benefits Partner III will contribute to the organization by championing and administering MoneyGram’s Benefits programs including medical, dental, vision, retirement and other benefit programs available to employees across the organization to ensure that benefits remain competitive, cost effective, and legally compliant. Benefits Administration includes domestic and international benefit programs.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Investigates and resolves eligibility, plan interpretation and other items that require intervention between the employee and third parties. Provides resolution for escalations by working with vendors, Payroll/Finance, HR and Legal, etc.
  • Ensures compliance with ERISA, DOL, IRS, ADA and all other legal mandates, assist with annual plan audits, Form 5500 preparation and plan testing. Ensures compliance with all country statutory guidelines and requirements.
  • Leads benefit projects such as implementing new vendors, evaluating/documenting processes, and analyzing trends/issues. Assists with benefit costs reporting and analysis and benefits invoice payments.
  • Develops and maintains knowledge of all health and welfare, and retirement plans and policies and procedures.
  • Assists with open enrollment activities, communication creation/review and system preparation/testing.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
