JOB DESCRIPTION:

Perform real time system support with exchange driven deadline and compliance implications on behalf of a global financial services institution. Support Over-The-Counter (OTC) Clearing and Client Money Segregation applications, for compliance with the Dodd-Frank Act. Utilize knowledge of the Listed Derivatives middle and back office business to support end users on trade execution, booking, clearing, accounting and regulatory reporting on U.S-based clearing houses including CME, ICE, Options Clearing Corporation (OCC) as well as other international clearing houses. Utilize experience using Unix, IBM Mainframe (Cobol, Natural, Adabas, JCL), ITIL, Sybase, DB2, Shell Scripting, PERL Scripting, Windows/Linux Systems Administration, Database access using DBArtisan/Squirrel and MS Office Suite of products, including Word, PowerPoint, and OneNote to support the Listed Derivatives business from a technology perspective, via applications such as Renovated Accounting, Strategic Pairing Service (SPS), MARS (Matching Allocation and RegiStration) and Trades Completion (TC). Onboard newly developed applications into the production environment by setting up monitoring, and user templates as well as support staff training
sessions, utilizing experience creating structured processes for resolution of user queries in day-to-day technology issues in relation to production systems, using renovated tools such as ServiceNow, Sockeye, PB MQ Mon and WatchTower. Assist with queries in relation to the Listed Derivatives and OTC Derivatives production environment from a technical standpoint, utilizing experience resolving system outages on time and supporting mission critical software in the daily production environment. Create and ensure adherence to service levels with various IT system owners on the daily data processing stream, utilizing experience identifying key problems across multiple systems in relation to their interaction with each other, proposing and prioritizing solutions to the respective system owners, on renovated processing platform Autosys/BatchMon. Coordinate communications across multiple internal technology and business groups to plan for business-specific events as well as firm wide events including scheduled datacenter power downs.

REQUIREMENTS
:

Requires a
Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field of study and 5 years of experience in the position offered or as an Application Developer, IT Analyst, Systems Engineer, or related occupation. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the following skills: experience with mainframe technologies including Natural, COBOL, JCL, CICS, and Eztrieve languages; Adabas, Mainframe, and DB2 databases; and VSAM, SPUFI, QMF, DATMAN (dataset management), ROCHADE, ONDEMAND, MQ Series, Natural XML, FTP, CA7, and ADBA tools; experience with distributed technologies including Java, JXB, Perl, Shell scripting, and C++ languages; Sybase and UDB databases; and Autosys, Batchmon, DBArtisan, and Squirrel tools; experience with listed derivatives Asia flows; experience with listed derivatives Europe flows and transaction reporting into FSA; experience with regulatory reporting to CFTC and exchanges; experience with trade execution/clearing and settlement of listed derivatives; experience with risk management operational controls, accounting, and client reporting; experience with production support; and experience with exchange reconciliation on transactions/positions and cash flows.
