Application Developer 2

Essential Duties
– Utilize the .Net Framework to develop features toward high-quality software products with an emphasis on minimized maintenance and high performance.
– Assist developers, analysts, and designers in conceptualization and development of new software programs and applications.
– Assist in the preparation and documentation of program requirements, detailed technical specifications and the technical deployment documents.
– Run and monitor software performance tests on new and existing programs for the purposes of correcting errors, isolating areas for improvement, and general debugging.
– Work with Senior Developers and Supervisors to establish development standards and changes to development methods
– Provide issue escalation and resolution as well as timely execution of deadlines.
– Code development according to specifications
– Diagnose and fix bugs with production applications
– Develop assigned features on time and within requirements
– Participate in the Software Development Life-Cycle and develop features towards the project road-map
– Proven experience working in a team setting on large scale projects
– Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, SQL, and Web Services (REST/SOAP)
– Remain current with advances in technology
– Pro-actively seek ways to automate and streamline processes
– Interact with internal teams to help accomplish company objectives
– Contribute ideas for making applications better and easier to use
– Run Ad-Hoc SQL queries to provide the business with reporting needs
– Problem solve and develop new reports as needed
– Maintain active relationships with project team to determine business requirements
– Ability to perform code gate keeper duties, performing code review and ensuring source code functions successfully at all times.
– Utilize source control in conjunction with Project tracking software to document code updates
– Aptitude and desire to learn new techniques
– Participate in quarterly releases, ensuring successful releases with minimal downtime
– Must adhere to security policies

5+ year of experience object-oriented design, and agile development methodologies
