**JOB SUMMARY**

Sanford Health Internship Program aims to provide our interns with challenging, real-world projects specific to their career path. An Information Technology – Personal Systems Engineer Intern will contribute to Sanford operations and processes while obtaining first-hand experience that align with the mission, vision, and values of the organization.

**POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES**

Must possess the skills necessary for understanding written policies and procedures, project a positive attitude and good customer service skills, perform various functions under the supervision of the respective IT Director, Manager or Project Manager, and participate in the overall operations of the designated area of the department. The IT Intern must demonstrate good written and verbal communication skills, the ability to learn and problem solve, a fundamental working knowledge of computers and utilize the technology necessary for performing the job. Responsibility SCCM Client Health Checks/Wake On LAN, PC security patch and vulnerability cleanup. Mentor tasks would include guidance on the projects listed above, Education on processes and procedures within the SCCM product. Identify PCs with known security vulnerabilities via Nexpose and SCCM patch reports and remediate issues. Identify unhealthy SCCM clients and remediate issues, Identify PCs not responding to Wake-On-Lan requests and remediate. Activities related to SCCM migration to Configuration Manager 1607.

**QUALIFICATIONS**

Must be a Junior or Senior in Computer Service or IT related majors. Must have good human relations and communications skills; must be able to follow procedures and instructions given by the leadership staff. Must have strong problem solving, leadership, and analytical skills. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Products.
