Web Developer

Job Summary

The Developer’s primary responsibility is delivering marketing applications for SmartBase clients. Works with SmartBase Account/Project Manager to design, build and develop web and reporting applications.

Essential Job Functions:

• Participate in multiple client projects
• Communicate effectively with Project Manager on project timelines and details
• Develop knowledge of client business objectives and suggest ways to best solution a problem
• Ability to scope tasks and provide estimates for deliverables
• Adhere to and enforce security policies
• Work with vendors on internal and client projects

Qualifications and Skills

• Intimate knowledge of MySQl programming techniques including SQL, stored procedures, and views.
• Strong web development skills including HTML, CSS, Ajax, AngularJS, JavaScript, JQuery, and PHP
• Good communication skills
• Worked within and Agile or similar methodology
• Proven ability to meet deadlines and work with project requirements
• Learn and effectively use new technologies and business concepts

Desired skills

• One or more reporting tools. In particular Tableau and/or Pentaho.
• Understanding of marketing applications and their business function

Education / Experience:

• 3-5 years work experience in a web designer/developer role with increasing responsibility.
