Water Engineer 1

Water Engineer, Portland OR

Support engineers and scientists with the Water & Wastewater teams in Portland. The successful candidate will work on studies, designs, and field assignments for stormwater, water supply, drainage, conveyance, hydraulic/hydrologic modeling, fish passage, and stream restoration projects in Portland and through the western U.S. The role will involve working with multi-disciplinary teams through the planning, design, and implementation phases of projects completed for municipal, private, state, Tribal, and Federal clients. Typical job responsibilities are listed below.

Our ideal candidate would bring a positive attitude; excellent oral and written communication and analytical skills; willingness to support to our existing team; a few years of CAD and design experience (especially in site civil, conveyance, and structures); and familiarity with hydraulic modeling and GIS. A degree (BS or MS) in Civil, Environmental, Agricultural, or Bio-Resource Engineering The minimum qualifications for this position are: A degree (BS or MS) in Civil, Environmental, Agricultural, or Bio-Resource Engineering
