Treasury Analyst – Coral Gables, FL

Purpose of Position:
This position will be responsible to operate Treasury software, produce reports, work with banks and internal departments to generate data for daily cash management decisions, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance and other Treasury functions in support of the Corporate Treasury Manager and VP Treasury.

Accountabilities:
Operate on-line bank Treasury systems and Oracle file approval processes and maintain vendor bank data information. Coordinate daily payment file interface with A/P for payment initiation and processing.

Manage monthly bank account statement receipt and distribution. Analyze bank account statements and account analyses for accuracy.

Prepare daily cash management reports needed for cash management decisions.

Management of Corporate flies and records for the Treasury function, including primary responsibility for maintenance of the bank account and wire transfer template databases.

Coordinate SOX compliance activities for bank accounts and Treasury systems.

Foreign exchange documentation compliance coordination with banks and internal departments.

Manage departmental administrative functions.

Minimum Skills Required:
Bachelor’s Degree (Accounting, Business, Finance or related), from an accredited institution and/or equivalent work experience.

1 to 2 year prior experience in a similar role working with Accounting or Treasury Departments.

Expert in Microsoft Office programs (i.e. Excel, Word and Outlook, etc.), Sharepoint, Cognos, ReadSoft or Oracle is a plus.

Strong analytical, customer service, organizational and communication (i.e. oral and written) skills.

Ability to work well with all levels of management, and to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.

Preferred Skills:
Bi-lingual: Spanish and English.
