Technical Delivery Owner – $100K

The Technical Deliveray Owner (TDO) is the senior most technical leader responsible for the delivery of enterprise software solutions and related technical services to one or more of our largest customers. This role’s singular focus is to deliver high-end technical support for premier named accounts working US eastern hours.

As the owner for the architecture and technical delivery of a multi-million dollar per year solution for large clients, you effectively work as the CTO of a mini-startup, wearing multiple hats from lead engineer on the most complex elements of a solution to technical team manager to solution evangelist ensuring that the customer is blown away by the technical differentiation of our approach.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Developing full 360 degree product expertise in one or more of our solutions
• Achieving an expert level understanding of our customers’ environments and requirements
• Architecting and implementing the technical delivery of solutions based one or more products in a way that fits the customer’s constraints in the most effective manner possible
• Creating solutions architecture, algorithms, and designs for solutions that scale to the customer’s enterprise/global requirements. Implementation and coding of the core components of the solution.
• Maintaining accountability for the technical delivery of the solution, including personally owning the resolution of the most technically challenging issues
• Leading a team of Solutions Engineers working across all elements of solution delivery
• Ensuring our customers are supremely confident in the technical differentiation of our product and solution as well as in the technical services you lead to deliver them
• Hands on approach to solving IT problems – such as by developing scripts, installation 3rd party vendor patches, writing and updating of stored procedures, turning databases performances, etc.
• Participation and technical leadership of weekly issue status calls

Required Background and Experience

• Excellence in architecting solutions
• Background in programming and writing algorithms
• Experience deploying, integrating and maintaining enterprise class applications
• 3+ years of experience in managing network assets and large network topologies by administering routers, switches, firewalls, and protocols
• 5+ years of hands-on technical experience with large-scale enterprise software application development
• Programming knowledge in one or more of C, C++, Java or .Net and scripting languages
• Excellent understanding of current enterprise software technologies and development practices/tools, including virtual environments, source control, remote development, issue tracking, build and test automation, and networking management
• Computer Science or Engineering graduate/ post-graduate with top marks from a top technical university.
• Experience “working virtually” with teammates and customers around the world – remote work

Nice to Have:

• Content caching services (edge nodes) such as CloudFront from Amazon or Akamai CDN
• Experience as an architect who owns SAP ERP deployment at a large company
• Cisco, Juniper
• Experience in managing content delivery platforms for delivering rich media

Location:

We operate a fully virtual workforce management model with a work-from-anywhere office practice. As such, you can be located anywhere in the world where you can be well connected.

Hours:

This is a contracted 40 hour role with nearly all working hours overlapping with EST business hours. This is expected to be your exclusive occupation.

Compensation: $50/hour
